Ambitiouz Move believes that all artists and creators should own and control their intellectual property. We respect the rights of copyright holders and comply with applicable copyright laws, including the South African Copyright Act, 1978 (as amended) and international copyright frameworks.


Ambitiouz Move’s Terms of Service prohibit the distribution of infringing material. We will remove or disable access to content where we receive valid claims of copyright infringement and may suspend or terminate accounts of repeat infringers.


1. Notification of Claimed Infringement


If you are a copyright owner (or authorized agent of one) and believe that content distributed through Ambitiouz Move infringes your copyright, you may notify us by submitting a Copyright Infringement Notification (“Notification”).

Your Notification must include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a list of multiple works (e.g., artist name, track title, ISRC code, release date, timestamps).

  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail to allow us to locate it (e.g., artist name, track, ISRC, release date, timestamps).

  • Your contact details: full name, organization (if applicable), mailing address, telephone number, and email.

  • The following statements:

    • “I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”

    • “The information in this Notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.”

  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid Notification, Ambitiouz Move will forward it to the alleged infringer and remove or disable access to the identified content.


2. Counter-Notification


If your content has been removed or access disabled due to a Notification and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a Counter-Notification.

Your Counter-Notification must include:

  • Identification of the material removed or disabled, and its location before removal (e.g., artist name, track title, ISRC, release date).

  • Your contact details: full name, organization (if applicable), mailing address, telephone number, and email.

  • The following statements:

    • “I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.”

    • “I consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa, and will accept service of process from the claimant.”

  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid Counter-Notification, Ambitiouz Move will forward it to the claimant. Unless the claimant provides notice of legal action within a reasonable period, we may reinstate the content.


3. Repeat Infringer Policy


In accordance with the South African Copyright Act and international best practices, Ambitiouz Move may terminate or restrict the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We may also, at our discretion, suspend accounts that infringe the intellectual property rights of others, even if not deemed repeat infringers.
